Breaking News: Minh Khai Textile Featured in Công Thương Newspaper Following Resounding Success at the Fair

Recently, Minh Khai Import-Export Textile Joint Stock Company made a significant impact at the First Autumn Fair – 2025 by attracting a large number of customers with its premium natural fiber products. This success was recognized and honored by Công Thương Newspaper – the mouthpiece of the Ministry of Industry and Trade – on its prestigious column/specialized page dedicated to the Vietnam National Brand (thuonghieuquocgia.congthuong.vn).

The interview between the Công Thương Newspaper reporter and the company representative clarified the appeal of high-quality Vietnamese goods and the potential for market expansion in the new era. Below is the detailed content of the conversation with Ms. Nguyễn Ngọc Quyên, Business Director of Minh Khai Import-Export Textile Joint Stock Company.

1. Natural Fibers – A Strategy for Asserting Export Quality

The conversation began with the flagship products Minh Khai Textile brought to the event, clearly demonstrating the company’s commitment to high quality and sustainable development.

Công Thương Newspaper Reporter: Ms. Quyên, could you elaborate on the typical product lines that Minh Khai Import-Export Textile JSC introduced at the First Autumn Fair – 2025? What sets Minh Khai Textile apart from other products on the market?

Ms. Nguyễn Ngọc Quyên: We brought to the fair our key products that have been associated with our brand for over 50 years, including cotton towels, bath towels, floor mats, and bathrobes. The key point is that all of them are produced from high-grade natural fibers such as cotton, bamboo fiber, and hemp fiber. These materials are skin-friendly, completely safe, and provide a comfortable feel when used – a factor that modern consumers are highly interested in.

Bringing products that have been successfully exported to demanding markets to this fair is an opportunity for us to directly introduce this international quality to domestic consumers. I hope that through the fair, people will genuinely perceive the true quality of Vietnamese goods, thereby strengthening their trust in local brands.

2. Unexpected Attraction – 1,000 to 2,000 Products Daily

The purchasing power at the Minh Khai Textile booth was a major surprise. We asked Ms. Quyên about the practical effectiveness of the fair.

Công Thương Newspaper Reporter: After 5 days of participating in the fair, how do you assess the number of visitors and purchasing power at your booth? What is the fair’s effectiveness in terms of promotion and partner connection?

Ms. Nguyễn Ngọc Quyên: Honestly, I was very surprised by the appeal of this year’s Autumn Fair. The number of visitors was significantly higher than in previous fairs the company had attended. From morning until evening, the booth was constantly bustling, especially with mothers and grandmothers.

In terms of sales, on average, our booth sold approximately 1,000 – 2,000 products daily, and we had to restock continuously. I think this is a very positive sign, showing that Vietnamese consumers are increasingly interested in local textile goods, especially products with clear export quality.

For Minh Khai Textile, this fair is like an extremely effective, hands-on promotional channel. Customers can directly hold, touch, and feel the product, which no media campaign can replace. The fact that many customers return to recommend our products to friends and relatives is the most natural and effective way to spread the brand.

3. Multi-Channel Connection – Strategic Distribution Expansion

The fair is not just a retail venue but also an important bridge for B2B business collaborations.

Công Thương Newspaper Reporter: Within the framework of the fair, what notable opportunities, other than retail sales, have interactions and exchanges with distribution partners brought to Minh Khai Textile?

Ms. Nguyễn Ngọc Quyên: This fair has created quite a few interesting opportunities for the company to connect with potential partners. Besides the large number of retail customers, we also welcomed many domestic and foreign enterprises. Some international guests visited the booth, exchanged business cards, and expressed their desire to follow up after the fair to discuss long-term cooperation.

In the domestic market, we received considerable interest from companies specializing in gift production; they want to place orders for customized towels or embroider their brand logos as corporate gifts. Furthermore, several domestic supermarket chains, convenience stores, and retail agents proactively reached out to exchange information and discuss bringing Minh Khai Textile products into their distribution systems. This helps us solidify our strategy for sustainable domestic distribution expansion.

4. Embracing the Sustainability Trend in the FTA Era

Minh Khai Textile is an enterprise with a high proportion of exports. We discussed with Ms. Quyên the challenges and opportunities brought by new-generation FTAs.

Công Thương Newspaper Reporter: In the context of Vietnam participating in many new-generation Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), what opportunities and challenges do you see for the textile and garment export sector, particularly for Minh Khai Textile?

Ms. Nguyễn Ngọc Quyên: I believe that Vietnam’s textile and garment sector is facing a very special period. New-generation FTAs provide clear tariff preferences, giving Vietnamese products a competitive edge. For Minh Khai Textile, with nearly 80% of our revenue coming from exports, this is the time to assert our brand. We have accumulated enough experience and credibility to enter challenging markets. Moreover, the consumer trend is strongly shifting towards environmentally friendly products using natural fibers, which is the direction Minh Khai has long pursued.

However, the challenges are significant. Regional competition is increasingly fierce. Vietnamese enterprises are forced to innovate strongly in technology, design, and supply chain management. Additionally, requirements for certificates of origin and sustainable production processes are becoming mandatory technical barriers. Vietnamese textile enterprises must invest in quality and brand storytelling. The market is changing rapidly; the winner will be the one who understands the market and knows how to adapt.

5. Ministry of Industry and Trade – The Supporting “Guide” for Enterprises

Finally, we asked Ms. Quyên about the supporting role of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in trade promotion activities.

Công Thương Newspaper Reporter: How do you assess the role of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in organizing, supporting enterprises in market connection, and expanding export opportunities, as exemplified by this Autumn Fair?

Ms. Nguyễn Ngọc Quyên: I affirm that the Ministry of Industry and Trade is genuinely doing an excellent job as a “guide” for businesses. Every trade promotion program is thoroughly prepared, from the organizational scale to the content of the connections. This Autumn Fair is a clear example. Enterprises are both promoted and have the opportunity to learn.

In particular, the series of specialized conferences and seminars within the fair’s framework provided us with a practical perspective on packaging standards and how to build brand identity suitable for each target market. Information exchanged from Vietnam’s Trade Offices abroad is also extremely useful. Businesses receive direct analysis on consumer demand, import policies, and the specific tastes of each country, which would otherwise take significant time and cost to research independently.

Công Thương Newspaper Reporter: Thank you, Ms. Quyên, for your candid and valuable insights!

The remarkable success of Minh Khai Import-Export Textile Joint Stock Company at the First Autumn Fair – 2025, as featured in Công Thương Newspaper, is clear evidence of the power of quality and a sustainable strategy within Vietnam’s textile and garment industry.

With a wealth of experience, Minh Khai’s commitment to using natural fibers and continuously innovating technology has helped it not only maintain export market share but also strongly win over domestic consumers. Furthermore, the timely and systematic support from the Ministry of Industry and Trade through trade promotion activities has played a pivotal role, helping the company seize opportunities from FTAs and overcome technical barriers.

Moving forward, Minh Khai, with its towel products, will undoubtedly continue to be one of the leading figures representing high-quality Vietnamese goods, contributing to the goal of elevating the position of the Vietnam National Brand on the international stage and building solid trust among domestic consumers.
